Nu kan en grekisk forskargrupp f\u00f6r f\u00f6rsta g\u00e5ngen visa vilka delar av medelhavskosten som \u00e4r viktigast f\u00f6r h\u00e4lsa och livsl\u00e4ngd. Forskarna har f\u00f6ljt matvanor och d\u00f6dlighet hos mer \u00e4n 23.000 friska grekiska kvinnor och m\u00e4n under drygt \u00e5tta \u00e5r.<\/p>\n

– Vill man leva l\u00e4nge ska man dricka m\u00e5ttliga m\u00e4ngder r\u00f6tt eller vitt vin till maten. Det \u00e4r b\u00e4ttre \u00e4n att inte dricka alkohol alls, vilket nog provocerar m\u00e5nga i Skandinavien. Alkoholen tycks bland annat vara f\u00f6rdelaktig f\u00f6r n\u00e4rings\u00e4mnena i maten i magen, s\u00e4ger Dimitrios Trichopoulos, professor i epidemiologi vid universitetet i Aten och verksam vid Harvard School of Public Health i USA.<\/p>\n

I topp kommer allts\u00e5 m\u00e5ttliga m\u00e4ngder alkohol. N\u00e4st viktigast \u00e4r att \u00e4ta lite k\u00f6tt och charkprodukter, eftersom k\u00f6tt bland annat \u00f6kar risken f\u00f6r cancer. Sedan f\u00f6ljer i tur och ordning mycket gr\u00f6nsaker, frukt och n\u00f6tter samt olivolja och baljv\u00e4xter, skriver DN.<\/p>\n
